HoloLens & Mixed Reality Experiences

Over the last 6 years, I have worked on HoloLens & Mixed Reality experiences in some capacity. This has varied from working directly on the platform, building first-party experiences, and tying together the narrative with computer vision. Most recently, I began leading the Dynamics 365 Guides and Remote Assist team. My initial focus has been activating the team in intentional impact, effective scoping, and equitable assignments.

Windows Mixed Reality

In 2016 and 2017, I designed for the platform-side of Microsoft HoloLens and contributed to shipping Windows Mixed Reality VR headsets. I contributed to environments, app model, first-run experiences, commercial IT, avatar identities, and how to be more inclusive with this technology.

Tools I use for designing in MR included: research, storyboarding, sketching, Photoshop + Illustrator mockups, Tilt Brush prototypes, and Paint3D prototypes

Immersive Reader for VR

In 2018, I was the initial designer that brought OneNote’s Immersive Reader to VR. Our team had a hypothesis that students with dyslexia could gain confidence in reading in such a private setting. I worked closely with PM, Engineering, and Research to ship an MVP that we brought to ISTE for user feedback.
